Description
We pick You up at the pre-arranged meeting place and begin our full day of discovering famous city of Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
During 4h long drive along the scenic winding Dalmatian coast in air-conditioned van you will be accompanied with Your expert guide. We will make several stops to overlook for the amazing panoramic views. After our arrival in Dubrovnik, your guide will tailor a custom experience most suitable for your group.
Within tall and strong medieval walls we start to explore one of the most beautiful coastal cities of Europe known as 'Pearl of the Adriatic'.
First on the scheduled is a 1,5 h private walking tour that takes you to see the most important landmarks of the Old Town. Tour starts at the monumental Pile Gate that leads to Stradun, the main promenade street of the Old Town. We will stop for sightseeing the Franciscan Monastery, the oldest pharmacy in Europe opened in 1317, Onofrio’s Fountain and impressive Sponza Palace with its columns and elaborate stone carvings. We end the tour with a visit to a Cathedral and an interesting story behind it.
Then there's time to explore its hidden corners by yourself! Your guide will recommend you the best local restaurant, souvenir shops or additional sightseeing places for wandering around. You can climb the medieval walls that lead you around the Old Town or even take a cable car for an amazing view of the famous red tile roofs and the sea.
After the day spent in Dubrovnik, we start the drive back to Split. Dubrovnik leaves nobody unimpressed!
