Highlights

Description
After about a three-and-a-half-hour drive, we arrive at Plitvice Lakes National Park: the largest, oldest and most iconic national park in Croatia, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1979 — among the very first in the world.
This unique natural wonder is a geological and hydrogeological masterpiece. It consists of a forested mountain basin and 16 shimmering, turquoise lakes linked together by cascades and waterfalls. Countless streams feed into the system, while travertine barriers — formed over thousands of years — create the terraces that make Plitvice so visually striking. Dense forests, vibrant flora and fauna, wooden pathways and dramatic seasonal colors combine into a breathtaking, unforgettable experience.
Upon arrival, our journey begins with a scenic walk through woodland trails. We explore the Upper Lakes, followed by a peaceful boat ride that carries us toward the Lower Lakes. The highlight awaits at the end — crossing charming wooden paths directly over the water and hearing the powerful roar of the Great Falls, a 78-meter-high waterfall that leaves no one indifferent.
A special highlight of the visit is the serene boat ride across the emerald lake surface. As the electric boat glides quietly over the water, you’re surrounded by reflections of forests, cliffs and waterfalls — a moment of complete stillness where you truly feel the scale and harmony of the park.
