Description
We pick you up at the prearranged meeting place and we are on our way to our first stop: Blue and Red Lake, astonishingly beautiful wonders of nature, with remarkably high cliffs reaching up to 241 m above sea level, located in the Dalmatian hinterland next to Imotski town.
We continue our journey to Mostar city, the historic jewel of Bosnia-Herzegovina and an outstanding example of a multicultural urban settlement, known as the 'Window of the Orient'.
Your guide will introduce you to the fantastic city's history and walk with you through the most famous sights. We will have a walk through the Old Bazaar and enjoy its original atmosphere, narrow cobblestone streets lined with artisan shops full of Turkish ornamentation, and charming traditional colorful houses. We will visit the Mosque, and take a walk across the Old Bridge, one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's most visited landmark from the 16th century, after which the town got its name.
You can use your free time to try some of Bosnian well known specialties, burek, pita or cevapi, to enjoy the traditional Turkish coffee or to have shopping.
Our next stop is Vrelo Bune, the natural and architectural ensemble at the Buna river, with one of the strongest karstic springs in Europe, where you can enjoy the natural and unique beauty of the area and the stories about it’s valuable history.
Our journey continues along the deep valley of Neretva river to Pocitelj town. Your guide will introduce you to the city’s ancient history and the stories behind its most admirable sites, Haji-Ali Mosque and Sahat-kula.
Then there is time for relaxation, at the amazing natural enviroment and one of the most attractive natural landmarks in the area, Kravice waterfalls. Free time gives you the opportunity to swim by the waterfall, to have a picnic or to explore on your own and enjoy the nature and beautiful views.
After a day enriched with experience, history, colors, flavors, scents and leisure, we return to Split in the late afternoon.
