Krka Waterfalls Tour
With Panoramic Boat Cruise & Swimming
Highlights
Description
Nestled in the very heart of Dalmatia and only an hour from Split, a perfect getaway for all true nature lovers. Awe-inspiring waterfalls, river boat cruise and picturesque Town of Primošten for spicing-up this tour even more.
In about an hour and 15 minutes we arrive at Krka National Park from Split. First up is the most popular area on NP Krka; Skradinski buk. Skradinski buk is the last of seven waterfalls on the Krka River but surely not the least as it creates most travertine cascades, islands and lakes. In over 17 steps of Skradinski buk, spread over 800 meters in length, lies one of the most unusual and beautiful landscape images of the National Park, one of the most famous Croatian natural beauties and the largest travertine waterfall in Europe.
Our program includes a fascinating guided tour of an authentically restored ensemble of stone small houses, workshops, exhibits and watermills and a beautiful walk through forest pathways and wooden bridges designed to let you experience the rich diversity of flora and fauna there.
Enjoy the magnificent Skradinski buk, use your free time here for a picnic and take instagram worthy photographs of the area at the impressive view points. Relax under the shade of the pine forest with beautiful views on the magnificent river and prepare yourself for the next step of our adventure.
It’s time for a boat cruise! We’ll leave Skradinski buk on the most impressive way, taking a 30 minute panoramic boat cruise to Skradin town.
The day wouldn’t be complete without some swimming in the turquoise waters of the Adriatic sea. And we have chosen to take you to the town of Primosten, where lies some of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia, voted as one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Croatia. But not only the beaches will impress you, the charming Primosten town is one of the most photographed towns in Croatia, with a unique panorama of the old town, situated on a peninsula and surrounded with miles and miles of beaches.
Enjoy 2 hours of free time in Primosten for swimming or exploring it’s cobblestone streets, or take the option to try some wine tasting here too, which we’ll be happy to arrange for you.
On our Krka waterfalls tour you'll be led by a local, expert, English-speaking guide who will make each destination come alive like only a resident can. Along the way, your guide will share the traditions, culture and history of your destination from a first-hand perspective. Oftentimes it is our incredible guides our travelers remember and reminisce about most when they recount their experience.
Out of the season ( in April, May and October ), when swimming is not a must, we have some different options for you. We'll take you to explore the royal town of Šibenik and the UNESCO World Heritage Site, St. James cathedral with our expert guides.
